Begin the journey
I hope this website helps you learn more about world history. All facts have been taken directly from Streams of Civilization by Mary Stanton and Albert Hyma. And are based from a biblical stand point. So I now invite you to take the journey through world history.
Can you imagine people building civilization all around the world at the same time? Normally we think of history as following a sequential step-by-step forward pattern. Nevertheless we should understand that the civilizations of past centuries were actually built by different people at the same time. The various "families" of the eath eventually became so dispersed that they developed int the following distinct groups of people:
Families of the Earth
Eastern Asia: Mongolian, Chinese, Korean, Ainu
Southern Asia: Indians, Islanders of the South Pacific, Malaysians, Vietnamese, Thai, Aborigines of Australia
Africa: Egyptians, Cushites, Nokians, Bushmen, HOttentots
Europe: Italians, Gauls, Celts, Russians, Slavic, Finns,
Americas: Eskimos, Canadians, Mayans, Incans, Pre-Columbians
Each family group used what tools they took with them whey leaving"home." When they settled agian in new lands they started over by locating resources like wood or metals.
